For the 2025 - 2026 season it has been decided to change to three divisions as the fixture scheule had previously been packed with an early start in September and only just being completed in time for the National League Winners finals.

The change to 3 divisions allows more time for clubs to play re-scheduled games and also the change to arrange friendlies with other clubs in their spare game weeks.

For the 2025-2026 it has been decided that the promotion / relegation will be as follows:

Division 1 - bottom two teams will be relegated to Division 2.

Division 2 - top two teams will be promoted to Division 1 and bottom 2 teams will be relegated to Division 3.

Division 3 - top two teams will be promoted to Division 2.

Should there be a need to revert to a 2 Division format for the next season in the event of teams withdrawing from the league competitions, the new Divisions will be formed as follows:

All teams in Division 1 PLUS the top 4 teams in Division 2 will form the new Division 1.

The bottom 4 teams in Division 2 PLUS all the teams in Division 3 will form the new Division 2.
